Using Rose Wonder with Blends!

I made this card with the new Blends alcohol ink markers. I started in the centre area of the flower and used dark Calypso Coral then added in light Calypso Coral graduating to dark Pink Pirouette and finally light Pink Pirouette then when finished adding colour to the flower I went over and highlighted with the colour lifter. For the leaves I coloured each section with light Calypso Coral and went over with light Old Olive and then shadowed with dark Old Olive and once again highlighted with the colour lifter. The whole flower is then surrounded with the Ivory marker. This is just one of those happy experiments which worked out just as intended.

I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and all the current supplies to make this card or any card on this blog can be purchased through me for residents of Canada. I also am able to create classes for making my cards and other projects. To book a custom class or event (I’m willing and able to do one on one or a larger group) just call me to make arrangements.

My take on White on White

I’ve always wanted to do a White on White card but I always seem to feel when making it it needs a little contrast even if the contrast is a gentle neutral. Here I’ve used Whisper White with a hint of Smoky Slate. The Dies are the botanical builder Framelits and the stamp set Rose Wonder. I’ve used the retired candy dots to embellish but the Rhinestone Embellishments would work well too.

My Mum’s Autumn Birthday card

I used the Paisleys and Posies suite once again paired with the Rose Wonder stamps for the sentiment. I made my mum an autumn birthday card! This set is so wonderfully versatile it makes cards for many different occasions. The card stock is Delightful Dijon and Rich Razzleberry and the ink is also Rich Razzleberry. I’m so happy I still have my mum and I’m celebrating her for sure!
