Perfect Pines meets Christmas Pines card

I’m going to be alternating between some Christmas and some 2017 Occasions catalog ideas and fade out Christmas and concentrate on Occasions catalog and Annual catalog. I’m sorry about that but us crafters are always ahead of the season especially since us lucky ones who went to On Stage got a head start on Spring ideas. To keep it simple this card is made from the Perfect Pines thinlits, Warmth and Cheer DWT and Christmas Pines stamp set. The colour scheme is Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White and a touch of Crumb Cake. I’ve been working on Christmas cards since July and Spring is a welcome change!

Peaceful Pines in the Woodlands card

Peaceful Pines Bundle with the Woodlands TIEF. Also Presents and Pinecones DWT. The card stock is Whisper White, Emerald Envy and Cherry Cobbler and the ink is Emerald Envy. Finally finished off with metallic shapes in silver.

A Peacful Pines card

This is pretty much a CASE from Pinterest except I swapped the original Night of Navy for Dapper Denim and I didn’t have the same sentiment stamp as well as for the sentiment I swapped the original Crumb Cake for Delightful Dijon. The card on Pinterest was from an unnamed upload photo so unfortunately I have no name for the original design but to be fair I am letting you know this is not my original design. I just love its simplicity actually. The main products used were peaceful Pines bundle and Softly Falling TEIF.

Peaceful Pines Christmas card

Everything in this card except for the retired gold glimmer tape is from the big Annual catalog. I used the Peaceful Pines framlits on This Christmas DSP and for the sentiment I used the Christmas Greetings thinlits and the word Christmas from a retired set which I can’t off the top of my head remember but really any set with the word Christmas would work. The star on top of the tree is from a retired punch with gold foil. I used Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla card stock and Cherry Cobbler ink. Finally I embellished it with gold metallic stars from the Metallics Shapes. If I didn’t have the gold glimmer tape the gold strips could be cut from gold glimmer paper and there are other still available options for cutting the star.
