Just using some scraps of the almost retired DSP. This time I experimented with some triangular blocks (used the retired postage stamp punch and cut some in half diagonally). I think it looks like a windmill. The DSP is from the Falling in Love suite and the Happy Hearts embossing folder is also on the retirement list 😢. The sentiment is from the Sunshine Sayings stamp set and Thankfully is not retiring! The actual card is officially in the mail! I made it for a purpose.
I finally did it. I have been wanting to make this mechanical card for a while and admit I had to turn to Pinterest to learn how. It magically twists and turns as you open it. It uses several bundles, stamp sets and the Falling in Love suite. The bundles were So in Love and Dragonfly Dreams and the stamp set is Touches of Texture. The base colour is Flirty Flamingo. It’s such a fun idea. I can hardly wait for the middle of March when a close friend has her birthday! 💜
I went back to the Falling in Love suite and the So in Love stamp set for this on. Actually I was trying to get a Stampin Write Markers and the aqua Painters card which I think I can make a video of in less than 15 minutes. I tried doing a video with Mediterranean Moments but it was over 24 minutes and that’s just too big to post. These flowers are much quicker so tonight I’m working on a video I plan to post tomorrow. I’ll just be showing these flowers as my example.

I’m thinking wow this one would totally work as a wedding card or even anniversary. It totally uses the Falling in Love suite as well as the colours Soft Sky, Blushing Bride and Sahara Sands. I just love that Stampin Up is going for all these beautiful lacework dies. I’m in love with this delicate feminine look! Tonight I plan to work on a 3 D project. We’ll see how that goes!
Falling in Love with the Lift Me Up bundle. The DSP and the Very Vanilla satin ribbon are from the Falling in Love suite and the Dies and stamps are from the Lift Me Up bundle. The colours I used were So Saffron and Peekaboo Peach. I lifted them all up with Stampin Dimensionals. I’m always looking for ideas for thank you cards always thankful when I make another one.
More of the Falling in Love suite card. This one would be great as an anniversary card or wedding card. I also used a stamp from the Delicate Details stamp set from the free Sale-a-bration catalog. The colours are Very Vanilla, Blushing Bride and Sahara Sands. You could also use this as a special friendship card.
Falling in Love with Dragonfly Dreams literally. yes I used Falling in Love DSP with my Dragonfly Dreams bundle and Gold Foil paper, Blushing Bride card stock and Sahara Sands ink. I also used my Layering Ovals Framelits. I made the Dragonfly and the sentiment pop using Stampin Dimensionals. This week I plan to play a lot with my Falling in Love Suite.
