This is a remake of a card I made a few months back but was not happy with. I’m happier it turned out better this time. Features Christmas Pines stamps, Delicate Ornaments and Christmas Greetings thinlits dies. The foil sheets are the retired red, gold and silver. (Last two not retired). Card stock is Cherry Cobbler and Pear Pizzazz.
Everything in this card except for the retired gold glimmer tape is from the big Annual catalog. I used the Peaceful Pines framlits on This Christmas DSP and for the sentiment I used the Christmas Greetings thinlits and the word Christmas from a retired set which I can’t off the top of my head remember but really any set with the word Christmas would work. The star on top of the tree is from a retired punch with gold foil. I used Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla card stock and Cherry Cobbler ink. Finally I embellished it with gold metallic stars from the Metallics Shapes. If I didn’t have the gold glimmer tape the gold strips could be cut from gold glimmer paper and there are other still available options for cutting the star.
These die sets came out last year but are still available this year. They are the Delicate Ornaments Thinlits and the Christmas Greetings Thinlits cut in the still available gold and silver foil sheets and the now retired red foil sheets. I can’t wait until next week when I start my sneak peek into this years holiday catty the new colour foil sheets are stunning!!! The filigree ornament has peekaboo peach in the background and they are on a piece of mint macaron card stock decorated with Stampin’ write markers in Emerald envy and crushed curry. Finally the matte is red foil sheets on a watercolour paper card base.
