This time I did the card entirely with Beautiful You and I think it’s the one I want to do a video for. I can most likely replicate it in about 10 minutes. The lady is watercoloured using the blender pen and ink pad. The background is a combination of stamped off stamps and lightly stamped ones but the sentiment is stamped full pressure. I’ll be able to talk more about the details in the video. The top background paper is Stampin Up’s watercolour paper. And the card stock is Perfect Plum, Marina Mist and Daffodil Delight. I’m so hoping I can arrange to do a video as this one is super fun.
Still loving Beautiful You! Once again I watercolour painted using ink pads and the blender pen. The background is from the Serene Scenes DSP stack and the mattes are Early Expresso and Dapper Denim mounted on a Whisper White Thick card base. I might at some point do a video of using the blender pen with ink pads for watercolour. I just have to arrange to go to my Up lines house because I don’t have the set up I need to pull it off. Here’s a closer look at the watercolour image…
I’m going to end this week with a card made with a stamp set I have wanted since On Stage and finally have: Beautiful You! I “watercolour painted” it using ink pads with the blender pen on Stampin Up watercolour paper. The background DSP is from Serene Scenes with the sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink. The mattes are Bermuda Bay and Crumb Cake card stock and its mounted on a Whisper White Thick card base. I’m so glad the Occasions catalog has a few line art stamp sets! My favourite stamping is to use my imagination to fill them in!
I visited Dragonfly Dreams again and added a whole lot more. I used the watercolour pencils, plus lots of Sale-a-bration stuff: inside the lines DSP, Metallic Ribbon Combo pack in silver and the sentiment is from Avant Garden. There’s a really nice selection in Sale-a-bration this year!!! The possibilities are endless!!!
I needed a masculine thank you card and realized I really didn’t have a super masculine stamp set. So once again I made a neutral card. I’ve really got to get a masculine stamp set. This one uses stamps from Moroccan Nights and the sentiment from Rose Wonder. The colours are Cajun Craze and Very Vanilla. I embellished with gold bakers twine from the holiday catalog as well as gold metallic shapes and Cajun Craze shapes. Thanks to the colours it passes as masculine.
Aaaaaaand now for something completely different! A chicken wearing beakstick! I was playing around with the two Sale-a-bration stamp sets: Hey Chick and Delicate Details and having some fun with my new blender pens. Now the blender pens are not new to Stampin Up just to me. This project was fun and partially in jest, but was fun to make. I hope you enjoy.
