This is pretty much a CASE from Pinterest except I swapped the original Night of Navy for Dapper Denim and I didn’t have the same sentiment stamp as well as for the sentiment I swapped the original Crumb Cake for Delightful Dijon. The card on Pinterest was from an unnamed upload photo so unfortunately I have no name for the original design but to be fair I am letting you know this is not my original design. I just love its simplicity actually. The main products used were peaceful Pines bundle and Softly Falling TEIF.
Some say some colours are not the proper colour choice for Christmas cards. You can bet they don’t have a best friend in Hawaii. I grew up in Hawaii and I know the tropical Christmas pallet and this is for my friend. Dare I say the longest friendship, which spans decades, I have ever had. I used the detailed Santa bundle on this one and my pallet includes Flirty Flamingo, Pear Pizzazz and Basic Black. Of course Santa is wearing shades nothing less would do!!!
I can definitely say I love the stamp set Father Christmas!!! This one was simple and easy!!! It uses two colours of card stock Sahara Sand and Cajun Craze. The ink is just Cajun Craze. There is some fussy cutting involved but easier than some stamps I have cut out in the past. The raised elements are mounted on Stampin’ Dimensionals everything else you can use your choice of adhesives. Really fun to make card.
This is a remake of a card I made a few months back but was not happy with. I’m happier it turned out better this time. Features Christmas Pines stamps, Delicate Ornaments and Christmas Greetings thinlits dies. The foil sheets are the retired red, gold and silver. (Last two not retired). Card stock is Cherry Cobbler and Pear Pizzazz.
I got the gist of this card from a photo someone shared on Facebook but although I loved the concept it wasn’t exactly what I wanted to do so I’m just presenting it my way. From the holiday 2016 catty I used Merry Medley background stamp, the Pretty Pines thinlits dies and the 3/8″ Silky Taffeta Ribbon Combo Pack in Cherry Cobbler. Then I used some retired stuff such as the Cherry Cobbler enamel dots I decorated the wreath with and I used black chalkboard paper which isn’t really necessary as from what I hear Basic Black card stock works too. Then I really went against the grain using another brand of white pigment ink instead of Stampin’ Up!’s Kraft White ink and I’m just not willing to cough up the money for SU pigment ink with a full ink pad of perfectly good pigment ink I already have. Now having said that back to Stampin’ Up! The card stock used is just Pear Pizzazz and Cajun Craze. I think this is my favourite Christmas Card so far!
