This is a combo sneak peek of the holiday catalog and an annual catalog bringing out the Christmas card. The stamp set from the holiday catalog is Christmas Magic and the embossing folder is Holly from the annual catalog. The ink used is Basic Black Archival ink and the card stock is Smoky Slate, Tiptop Taupe, Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler. It’s embellished with gold thread and some of last years Cherry Cobbler enamel dots. It makes a good masculine card.
Another sneak peek into the holiday catalog 2016! This is the Wonder of Christmas stamp set. I used Momento Tuxedo Black ink then coloured with alcohol markers. The background is Rich Razzleberry card stock stamped with more Tuxedo Black ink and on it is a copper foil star cut with the Starlight thinlits dies and the sentiment in Rich Razzleberry ink on blushing bride and sweet sugarplum card stock. It’s all mounted on a sheet of copper foil over Sweet Sugarplum card stock.
Yes another Holiday Catalog 2016 sneak peek! I wasn’t sure of how much I would like the Cookie Cutter Christmas bundle but I’m loving it!!! I coloured it with Stampin’ Write markers. I also used the Labeler Alphabet stamp set. The ink is Basic Black Archival ink. I embossed the “igloo” with the brick wall embossing folder and used retired dies and a retired punch for the heart. Card stock is Whisper White, Bermuda Bay and Real Red.
Yay! 26 event invitations done! Geez I hate multiple anything but these were easy peezy. Just stamp mount and mount. After cutting the paper and folding the card base. I used the new stamp set nativity silhouettes and a retired stamp set Come all ye Faithful. The ink was delightful Dijon and Bermuda Bay. And the card stock whisper white and Bermuda bay. And that’s all there is to it!
Let the sneak peeks begin. Yes I got my first order from the 2016 Holiday Catalog. My first project is from the Star of light bundle which comes with both the stamp set and the dies. I also used copper foil sheets also from the new catalog. The ink I used was Early Expresso and the card stock was Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Early Expresso and Tempting Turquoise. I also used a piece of the This Christmas DSP as sheet music. I’m so happy to have copper as a great new option from Stampin’Up!
This is my first attempt at making a pocket letter. All I can say is it took two days, made a heck of a mess but is incredibly cute! I got addicted to pocket letters on Pinterest and I just had to try it. My Theme is last years holiday catalog from Stampin’Up! Although there is stuff from last years annual catalog and a couple non Stampin’Up! stuff like the clear plastic trading card page and the ribbon. There’s only two items not retired: the Reason for the Season stamp set and the festive flower builder punch. If you want to be overly observant you will notice I used Emerald Envy card stock and ink which didn’t exist last year, but just worked really well.
