I love hexagons!!! This valentines card is made with the hexagon hive die cut in crumb cake card stock, hexagon punched Bloomin’ hearts DSP stack, hearts framelits die cut heart in rose red card stock, and Bloomin hearts stamps on the same DSP on blushing bride card stock on more of the same DSP on rose red card stock.
Ok so this is not a Stampin’Up! purist card. I used the Rose Garden thinlits Die set to make the mount for the sentiment plus used the big rose die in the set to make a template to paint the Rose and background with watercolours. I then used Pear Pizzazz and tempting turquoise paper and tempting turquoise ink.
More creations from colleagues!!! Left to Right and Top to Bottom: Brooklyn Mc, Debbie Freeman, Sarah Stanton and Angela McCay! All enjoying the occasions catty 2016 and Sale-a-bration!!!
This a simple but nice valentines card or you could just use it as a friendship card. It uses the Bloomin’ Hearts DSP stack and I cut them with the now retired postage stamp punch which can probably be replaced by the square punch with the edges “kissed” slightly with a pair of zigzag scissors. I snailed them onto a 4×5 ¼” piece of crumb cake card stock. And added a heart cut with the smallest heart framelit die. I then put it through the big shot with the Happy Hearts textured embossing folder. Then mounted it on a piece of Blushing Bride card stock cut to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”. Then mounted it onto a crumb cake card base of the same size. You can stamp whatever you’d like on the inside or simply leave it blank. And there you have it a love quilt valentines card.
